Call for Panel Proposals

Scope

To promote a healthy conversation on the ever growing signal and information processing research, IEEE ICASSP 2021 panels are expected to be on the topics of current and increasing interest. It is preferred that the topic for panel discussion is a controversial topic or a topic that has not yet received much attention, but is rapidly gaining importance. Recently, significant changes in signal and information processing research, development, and application landscape have taken place in order to deal with blossom of contemporary technologies and applications, including Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Deep Learning, Cloud computing, Internet of Things, and Media Rich Mobile Systems and Applications.

We are calling the leaders of signal and information processing research community and young generation of researchers to share your insights at the panel discussions at IEEE ICASSP 2021! We look forward to receiving high quality proposals from the Signal Processing community. It is expected that expert panelists will express their views on the topic of panel and discuss/debate/share with other panelists and the audience their views and experiences. Notice that the panels at IEEE ICASSP2021 are not intended for an avenue for panelists to present their own personal research or a narrow scope research project.

We welcome panel organizers from both academia and industry. We especially welcome new and emerging perspectives from signal and information processing related industrial corporations and research engineers.
